Introduction

Gluten-free Chocolate Mug Cake

This mug cake uses almond flour which results in a fluffy brownie texture. It’s also super easy as it requires no baking and very little time! Tastes delicious when it’s straight out of the oven 🙂 and topped with fruits and my dairy-free “nice” cream which you can find the recipe for here.

Ingredients

  • Almond flour, ¼ cup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tbsp.
  • Cinnamon, ¼ tsp.
  • Cloves, ¼ tsp.
  • Maple syrup, 2 tbsp.
  • Melted coconut oil, 1 tsp.
  • Egg, 1
  • Berries and mint leaves for topping

      Mix all ingredients (except berries and mint leaves) in a mug cup. Make sure to mix well as the almond flour tends to clump at the bottom.

      Microwave at 800W for 2 min. 30 sec.

      Top with berries and mint leaves and enjoy warm!
