Introduction
Miso Bliss Balls
Miso is a traditional and common Japanese condiment: a thick paste made from soybeans fermented with salt and a koji starter. Like most fermented things, it’s a good probiotic, helping the body maintain healthy bacteria levels, and nutritious, containing many healthy vitamins and minerals like vitamin K, manganese, zinc, protein and calcium. These nutrients support the bones and nervous system and improves digestion. Miso adds an extra oomph to your regular protein or bliss ball and is a superfood!
There are several varieties of miso but for my recipes, I like to use white miso as it is sweeter compared to yellow or red miso.
Ingredients

- Unsalted mixed nuts, 1/2 cup
- White miso, 1 & 1/2 tbsp.
