Introduction

Spicy Ginger Shots

This is one of my favorite ways to kickstart the day, especially on these hot summer days when I feel lethargic! It’s also great for warding off colds, allergies and other bugs, aids digestion and full of anti-inflammatory ingredients that will keep your immune system up.

Ingredients

  • Fresh ginger root, 1
  • Lemon
  • Manuka honey
  • Turmeric powder, a dash
  • Black pepper, a dash
  • Water, 1/2 cup

Blend 1 fresh ginger root with 1/2 cup of water, then strain the concentrated juice out. This water lasts for around 5 days.

Fill up your shot glass with your chilled ginger juice, add several squeezes of lemon juice, honey to taste, a dash of turmeric powder and ground black pepper.
