Introduction
Immunity-Boosting Hot Chocolate
Staying warm and dry as a typhoon ravages on outside – it’s been a bit of a hectic September so I’ve been drinking this immune-boosting creamy hot chocolate (now that it’s a little cooler!).
Ingredients
- Turmeric powder, 1 tsp.
- Unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp.
- Ginger powder, 1/2 tsp.
- Cinnamon, a dash
- Nutmeg, a dash
- Honey, 1/2 tbsp.
- Ground black pepper, a dash
- Unsweetened soy milk or regular milk, 1 mug
Simmer over low heat and cozy up with a book and warm blanket – if you’re wondering what the black pepper is doing in there, basically it helps your body absorb the helpful curcumin properties in turmeric.
